Garret's Guitar Lessons

CAGED Arpeggio's use our chord shapes as a basis to connect a single arpeggio all over the neck. Utilizing and getting familiar with these shapes help us know the fretboard... not memorize it! It's very important to always start and end on the root. Also, the fingerings are up for interpretation, so use experiment with different fingers if you wish.

To connect the shapes:
C Shape's 4th finger is A Shape's 1st finger
A Shape's 2nd, 3rd and 4th finger is G Shape's 1st finger barred
G Shape's 4th finger is E Shape's 1st finger
E Shape's 4th finger is D Shape's 1st finger
D Shape's 2nd and 3rd finger is C Shape's 1st finger barred
