This is exactly why the return of Fortnite OG last year was refreshing, but not the same. There was so many details that added onto OG Fortnite that wasn’t just the map. Like sound effects, gun models, loot pools, and the UI. So I’m hoping they really lock in with this permanent mode coming next week

for me its the ambience, the vibe, the sound, the silent, the color of the game. it's just that but somehow it makes me comfortable, especially when you play it when it's cold, and you only need a blanket and your controller and enjoy the scenery in the game without having to be afraid of being attacked by some tryhard, my first time playing this game is on season 4 chapter 1 and stop playin just last year, am i still count as an og player?

I find it obvious that it would never feel the same, but I think it’s going to be blessing covered in something people worrying about, which is the worry that it would get old.
But I feel like it couldn’t really, we still have everything alongside it, I mean it still is just a mode in the new chapter but it will always be something to go back to when you are done with new Fortnite, then you go back to new Fortnite, then back to OG, and repeat. It’s just something that’ll always be there. It won’t feel the same. But it’s still home, kind of like going back to a childhood home.

i rember when a friend told me about Fortnite and i started Playing on his Console the first time and later on my parents bought me my own it was so addicting and i never got burned out from playing it truely was a great time im happy and so thankfule it didnt died after the Preseason

It's really simple for me. It's because everyone sucked at the game before so you had fun and the game was great. But after like season 7-8 in chapter 1, people started getting better at building, editing and started to understand it more and the game got progressively less fun because of tryhards.
