Personally love 7 days to die there are so many mods you can get to add different things but even completely vanilla it is awesome and you can break anything even the ground you are standing on so you can really build whatever you want and do so many things

Long Dark is really a "You will die simulator." Because eventually, you will die no matter what. It's a really fun game

I like project zomboid the most. It is extremely challenging but it doesn't kill you every 4 seconds. But it dies punish you quite severely if you don't slow down or learn a lesson.

I want to add one thats on console and pc. Its called Vigor its an extraction style game where you build your base up with items you find as well as if you die you loose everything. But if you dont like that they have different pvp options for the players who like tons of combat!.
