I foolishly used an old cloth with silver polish on which made a mess. Saw your video and applied the shoe polish immediately it brought the black back. A great and cheap way of blackening bumpers and similar trims. Thank you so much for sharing this video.

It doesn’t work or last more than a day since the cherry black stuff is for shoes!

Water even makes trim look better, until it dries, so this video means nothing as he won't say how long it lasts.
