It makes me so happy to see you and Ellie hanging out!! Sisters are funny, for years my younger sister and I were like chalk and cheese but then we moved to the other side of the country with our parents, away from the rest of our family and we only had each other. Now we live 5 minutes from each other and we talk once a day even if it's just a random tiktok 😂 enjoy it while you can!

my sister and i are also 6 years apart & even shared a room for 2 years before she went to college. we didn’t get close until she was in college and i was in HS and i wish we did earlier :( cherish these moments ! <3

the sibling switch is something i definitely relate to. my brother is 4 years older than me. we argued alll the time growing up. then all of a sudden there was like this switch as we grew older and now we haven’t argued in years (we also don’t live together anymore and hardly see each other, so that could be part of it lol but we don’t pick fights with each other anymore is the main difference). it happened for us also close to the time that he moved out of our house as well, so i totally get what you were saying about you and ellie

I think it has to do with the fact Ellie is 15, however, I also think it has to do with you having a surgery just a bit more than a couple weeks ago Ellie might not want or know how to express it, but, that might have scared here hence wanting to spend time with you. I'm very happy that you and Ellie's relationship is going so well. It's great to see this.

me and my sister have a 6 1/2 year age gap so basically 7 and we were always at such different points in life so we constantly argued and didn’t get along well but when i turned 15 we got soooo much closer too, i think it’s the age where she was old enough that she was mature and had her life together and i was no longer going through like teenage girl hormones as much so our relationship got instantly better and has been really good ever since, it’s the best feeling definitely. my sister moved out in may and she isn’t in college either and of course it was sad not having them there every night but honestly it isn’t as bad as i thought, her apartment isn’t far from my house so i see her every day and it’s 100x more fun spending the night w ur sister in her own home!

Its kinda insane the similar situations we have been having. For one, on July 22nd I got a huge fibroid removed and they found 3 small ones during surgery and basically in the future I can only have C sections and stuff. And I'm 30, living with my family, but finishing college to move out soon as well. But my sister is 18 and she just moved to her dorm and it's all insane. She's at a campus close by, but not being able to go to her room everyday to see her is insane! But it will for sure all be okay!!
