Except in most of the previous Disney movies princesses do not, in fact, marry a prince they've just met. In lot of them there are either time skips or the marriage isn't shown yet at all. In one case the princess even marries someone else.
To sum it up:
Snow white - no marriage, just going somewhere together
Cinderella - probably time skip
Aurora - also probably time skip (also they technically had known each other for 100 years)
Ariel - the same, time skip
Jasmine - they get to know each other before
Mulan - they get to know each other quite well and marry only at the end of the sequel
Megara - do they even get married? Also get to know each other
Esmeralda - they don't get married during the movie
Belle - get to know each other. Also time skip
Pocahontas - marries different guy in the sequel and they get to know each other
Kida - get to know each other and time skip
Tiana - the same
Merida doesn't even get married
Rapunzel - get to know each other + huuuge time skip if you consider the series canon
Did I make a mistake or omit some princess before "poking fun at marrying the guy you just met" Frozen comment?
