I had a theory that agent 8 was a part of the original team before release but unfortunately died and sage wasn’t able to resurrect him because at the time. She had no life to give him because there were no battles to take life from to give to said agent 8. So my theory is that In the card that is agent 8 inside the little blue area because sage tried a different way to resurrect them but that ultimately failed

Agent 08 is actually lucia. Reyna has a sister named Lucia. It's alluded to in the game through one of her voice lines, “For you, hermanita.” The word “hermanita” is Spanish for sister. She is currently under the treatment of viper and a reason of reyna joining the team is to obtain enough soul or orb to heal her sister. She might come back . I think so

this battlepass has a lot of lore
1) maxbot player card is literally called "best served cold", plus omens voiceline from a previous update saying maxbot has been watching them. this means maxbot is out for revenge, hence best served cold

2) there is a player card showing kay/o's POV detecting neon, jett and phoenix as radiants, while kj is not highlighted, as she is human. in one of the emails (same update as the omen voiceline with maxbot), sage was discussing about how to classify radiants, as children of first light were definately radiants, but people like gekko and yoru and astra were anomalies (the definition of radiants was unclear)

3) there is a player card called "Scylla and Charybdis" showing chamber holding a golden puppet of himself with his tour de force. Scylla and Charybdis are 2 monsters out at sea and in one of the greek stories (i think it was the odyssey or smth), odysseus had to choose to row his boat closer to either scylla or charybdis
thus "choosing between scylla and charybdis" is basically a way of saying "choosing the lesser of 2 evils", which could mean thay chamber's past of destroying the collider in fracture was the lesser of 2 evils, and was necessary to avoid certain doom

smaller details:
omen remembers spray: could mean some of his memories of working at kingdom are coming back?
the edge of everything card: looks ominous, fearures a ALTAS helmet, with 2 radianite boxes (one green, one orange)
nothing to lose card: viper staring at a viper toxin chamber/tube or smth, idk what the significance is...

I think it’s an agent who got lost in another dimension which is why the dev said “as soon as he gets back” the accident might of made it so in this reality he doesn’t exist which is why the concept of “agent 8” never comes up in any of the lore (other then some physical objects like the locker)

No agent 008, but I have a theory. The number represents the Agent that deadlock captured. Deadlock is involved on this issue

Agent might actually be reyna's little sister who was almost killed by kiljoy's bots. That's why reyna always has a grudge againts kj. Reyna's sister was being treated and kept alive by viper and reyna' was tasked for bringing sould to give life power to her sister that's why reyna sometime says the phrase "don't worry you souls won't go to waste" .
