Russian troops escalated the offensive in the western part of Ukraine. Russian airstrike hit a Ukrainian military base that killed at least 35 people and left over 134 injured close to the polish border. The president of Ukraine has now issued a grim warning to the NATO members after this attack.

Russia will still fly their planes in a NATO no fly zone over Ukraine. Russia does not have to do anything that NATO says, they already have sanctions imposed on them which would continue until their economic and government collapse even if they did do a full retreat back to Russia and sign an armistice. Russia at this point has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
