Why I Have So Many Basses

In this video I demonstrate the tonal differences between my 7 primary basses by playing 16 bars on each bass to a backing track. Each pass is one take and slowly morphs stylistically as the playability and feel of every bass leads me to change my approach. See if you notice the (unintended) key change near the end and let me know what you think it is in the comments!

*EDIT* - The description for the 3rd bass:

Bass: 1965 Eko 995 Hollybody
All original
Strings: LaBella Flats, Short Scale
Pups: Single Coil, Passive
Tone Profile: Plunky, Woody, Thumpy (fingerstyle)

One version contains just the bass and percussion so the change in tone is more obvious. Another version is void of bass all together for anyone who wants to download and play along to the track themselves. The third is the track as it appears in the video, purely for listening enjoyment. All parts performed/programmed, edited, mixed, and mastered by me.

Thank you again for checking out my first real "youtuber-style" video and please subscribe to stay updated on new content.
