I love how honest and direct he is. So many athletes answer every question in the "media trained" way and I've always appreciated Votto's willingness to not do that and just say what he thinks. Congrats Joey on an amazing, Hall of Fame level career.

You don’t hear athletes be this honest and open in a public setting. They may say it behind closed doors, but not in front of cameras for it to be played for the masses. He held the Reds together for a long time!
