Even when I was a kid, I was never able to do monkey bars. This motivates me to try as an adult! Thanks!

"If you know how to fall you'll always be more confident" that's a proverb right there.

As a martial artist knowing how to roll has saved my ass so many times. Tripping while running, catching my foot on uneven surfaces, falling off my longboard, absorbing hard landings, getting thrown on my head, etc. saved me from so many injuries

Dude, swinging on big monkey bars with your stronger adult body is exhilarating. It's what you always wanted to experience as a kid.

Doing handstands every day for the last two years has been truly transformative. And I’ve transformed a lot and in many ways. But committing myself to achieving a press handstand (still yet to press up) has changed my life.

Ironically, we are all staring at a screen right now, watching this video.

I can do all three! I climb and do parkour in my free time (just for fun, beginner/intermediate level, nothing crazy) Knowing how to fall is important for both

"Our ability to swing from one arm makes us unique". Gibbons - am I a joke to you?

Can't overstate the actual importance of the last one, for sure. Like, in any dojo worth anything at all the first thing you'll be taught is, indeed, how to land properly even if you fall not of your own volition, and there's a good reason for that; namely, if nothing else, avoiding shattering your coccyx, because God help you if you do, as that's probably one of the most unenjoyable traumas one can get.
Anyways, cool video, man, and it radiates that good old fun you can have when working on this stuff, and having fun imo is the best way to build a good habit. God bless you.

That roll saved me from breaking something last year, I am bad at keeping my balance and thought I got the hang of driving these electric scooters. Boy was I wrong, I started driving fast (at night in an empty park) and I lost control, had to jump so I don't crash. Just rolled over and thanked God, that could have ended horribly. Yall stay blessed and safe 🙏❤ Amen

Even though I'm in great shape, I've completely lost the ability to swing! Please make a progress video on the steps needed to towards gaining that back!

Started training calisthenics in January. I already noticed more flexibility in my shoulders and I’m deeper in my squats. More controlled and stable movement. I’m excited to see the advancement and I already feel so connected to my body. This was the best investment.

Hearing the words, if you know how to fall, you’ll be more confident made me smile because a lot of people could not understand that about me when I was younger my mom and I were blessed enough to be able to afford putting me in competition level dance classes and we had to learn how to fall in, so nobody outside of my dance classes would understand my movements… but I was definitely a lot more confident than that. I am now on my feet because I knew that anything could happen, and I would be like a buoy in the water.

We used to tripod headstand into a handstand then roll forward and tuck into a jump—&that was top level baseball training not even parkour or gymnastics. Loved playing multiple sports and keeping it dynamic. This mans right. I always change up what im doing to keep it loose and athletic. FUNCTIONAL strength and mobility. Same reason i tell my kids to move their feet and simulate scenarios when warming up in baseball

I'm 25 and I can do all 3 very good!
I've been doing Breakdance and Parkour for many years though, so those are the basics for me. I also love stretching. It's so good for your health, when you are flexible, while getting older.
Peace from germany 😊

You truly are a fabulous person. I love your natural way of moving and keeping fit, it's very inspiring to me, even though I am a lot older than you!

Bro!

I literally started jumping from bar to bar because of you. I’m still on basic level.

I have to say thank you.

maybe there's a middle ground between slouching on the couch and walking around on your hands...
