Ever thought you might like to try a VCarve inlay but were unsure where to start?

In this session Todd will walk you through the basics of how to create a one-color v-carved inlay and then move onto putting that inlay in the bottom of a dish. After that it’s a simple job to make that same inlay using two-colors, and to prove it, he’ll cut that one in the labs and show you the results!

sehr gut erklärt !!!
da die meisten Leute in der Welt mit Millimeter arbeiten wäre es super in den Videos das zu berücksichtigen

One thing you need to do when making your plug is to mirror the plug horizontally. The design you used is symmetrical so it doesn’t matter but a bird or shape like that will not fit when you flip it over to insert it.

I followed the instructions but found that the plug was about 1.5mm too small, showing gaps. What can I do to fix this? Thanks,

Why do you cut the plugs first? I have not tried this yet and am anxious to try it, but not understanding well enough yet.

Where do I find the PDF reference sheet?

Might be a silly question, but I don't understand the purpose of the Inlay toolpath when you use v-carve toolpaths for inlays instead.
