Wow- when he said the longer the system is in place the more intelligent it becomes- but what he failed to say was that while the system is becoming more intelligent it throws off error codes and in my case and in other's too, the system shuts down and requires a technician to restart and in many cases the air handler motor's ECM becomes dead and needs replacing.
The infinity system was over engineered and released to the masses before it was thoroughly tested in everyday homes that were built since the early 70's. Especially in Florida and Texas and it's the homeowner that gets stuck with inconveniences of having a Cadillac that can't be driven.
As I've mentioned before, the Infinity system probably works great in an environmentally controlled atmosphere like on the ISS but in real life and with giant temperature and humidity swings it's not worth all the hype. In fact it's downright useless...
