Summit Conversations - Lumbar Spinal Stenosis

Показать описание
Today at rounds, we explored lumbar spinal stenosis —a condition where the space around the nerves in your spine becomes too narrow, leading to back and leg pain, especially during walking or standing. We’ll discuss typical symptoms, such as fatigue and discomfort with increased activity, and treatment options ranging from physical therapy to more invasive approaches like epidural steroid injections for symptom relief. A special thanks to Robert Snow, DPT at Synergy and Eric Freeman, MD at Southwest Pain and Spine for joining Dr. Edwards in this conversation.

I am 4 months PO from a fusion surgery to treat this issue. Out walking my dog as I type this! Able to walk 20+ miles per week. Sooo happy to have my life back!

This is the conversation I’m ready for- and I have so many questions. A lot about ‘beefing up’, both nutritionally and physically before surgery, and carefully making sure we’ve chosen the best option. Thanks for this talk. I learned a lot about where my condition is at, and it’s not good, but now I am more hopeful!
