Health Watch: Menopause

Показать описание
Menopause is a natural part of aging and marks the end of your reproductive years. It’s when you no longer have menstrual periods and your body stops producing estrogen. In this short video, Laura Ferraro, MD, an OB-GYN physician at UMass Memorial Health, shares how menopause is clinically defined, at what age menopause happens, the signs and symptoms of menopause, and how menopause symptoms can be treated. Each and every person experiences different things during menopause and has unique needs. It’s important to talk to your health care provider if you’re experiencing symptoms as there are treatments they can suggest.
