I really really love that there are announcements like: "There will be less / no fixes to bugs because of vacations." Because so many studios just communicate way too poorly... Coffee Stain Studio is such a gem. Jace too, of course.

Your even required to use 4 weeks, but your also guaranteed to get 4 consecutive weeks during june-august if you want. You can spread it out if you want but you actually need to take most of your vacation weeks during the year, and weeks above 4 you can save or in some cases exchange for cash :)

Paid vacation increases productivity because it gives people time to recover and improves their overall well-being. Healthy and motivated workers are productive workers. And it's not like there won't be at least a skeleton crew available to handle emergencies and do the day to day maintenance.
