Nice video as always. I picked this case up myself from your link. You can move that red cable from 4 up to 2 that will also give you the 5v faster fan keeping the black cable in 9 for the ground (or 14, 25, 30, 34 or bottom row left 39 also ground)and it wont be as tight in there. If you wanted the slower more quiet fan at 3 volts move the red cable up to position 1 top left)

Looks good man. I grabbed the same case for my pi but have not used it yet, I started modding the cabinet though I drilled holes for my buttons and speakers so far.

Pretty cool...I'm still unclear how you wired the OEM power button to power up and shut down both the screen and Pi down at the same time though. Do you have to splice the wires coming out of the switch? A quick tutorial video would be nice! Great work though man, keep it up!

Personally I don't want to drill any holes in my SF Cabinet I want to leave it stock.

So my plan for the Speaker Layout and AMP Control Knobs, Coin I & Coin II Buttons are all going to be mounted on a laser cut peace of Semi Gloss Black Acrylic that's going to replace Part "J" of the SF Cabinet...
1. I'm going to mount two 4" Speakers as far to the L. & R. of the Black Acrylic Part "J". Holes will be laser cut for the sound and for mounting the speakers. Maybe I'll go with 4" Speaker Grills I'm not sure yet.
3. My AMP will be mounted right in the Middle of the Black Acrylic Part "J"
2. My Coin I & Coin II Buttons will be mounted to the L. & R. Side
of the AMP that's in the middle of the Black Acrylic Part "J". And if I
decide to add Menu Buttons I will install them below the Coin I & II Buttons.

PS
If I decide to add a Coin Door I'll just use another laser cut peace of
Semi Gloss Black Acrylic to replace Part "I" of my SF Cabinet...

Thanks to Dave Helmig's Video that gave me the idea to mount the AMP on Part "J" of the cabinet :)
Here is the link of his custom SF Cabinet if you guys are interested on watching it

thanks for the video. was able to successfully use pins 5 & 6 to turn the cab on and off. pi and lcd are off w/ a red indicator for each. was curious if you've figured out a way to turn the pi, lcd and amp completely off?

I added this to my arcade1up SF cab, any help with this would be appreciated. Alright so I got everything working. (or had everything working I should say) I was able to turn it on and off a few times with the stock power button.Then I mounted everything;
But now the pi wont power on at all with the power button plugged into pin 5 and 6. Any ideas?

Where and how can I add that attract screen you have instead of seeing the load screen?

How did you fix the power switch inverted problem how off was on and vice versa. Thats the only problem im having. Did you physically turn the button around? Thanks for all your hel on this. You post some helpful stuff

Power switch is on 5, 6 and the fan is 6 and 9. So did you splice the cables both to 6?
