As we live in a universe where Jules exist as a Youtuber; I strongly recommend his channel Bound to Divide if you want to go make melodic house/techno. Great artist and producer!

PML, Alice, YOU, Alex Rome, Big Z and EDMtips are the most valuable channels out there for Melodic electronic music stuff. I thank you all very much

You try so hard not to promote you own videos...so I'll do it for you! Their great! I'm a total newbie and this was very helpful. Thanks

The one YouTuber I will absolutely plug here (outside of those mentioned in the video) is Sadowick. Couldn't tell you how many videos he's put out, but he legitimately has some of the best tutorials for ableton and a lot of other 3rd party plugins I've seen. His channel is an absolute goldmine.

Also, if you're like me and really like having a dedicated curriculum to what you're learning, PML really does have some terrific stuff.

It's so easy to get lost in the noise of YouTube, opinionated Reddit comments, and endless plugins/samples, so it's really refreshing to have a clear path laid out like this. Thank you so much! ❤

I just rewatched this video. It inspired me a lot when I first watched it. We essentially followed this process and it works!

Seems my journey so far is very similar to all your recommendations (minus the community/networking bit ...I need to stop being such a lurker lol).

I started producing last summer and was given the advice of "focus on finishing tracks" by you during a live stream and that's easily been the most beneficial thing for learning quickly - thanks! :)

Hello mate, thank you so, so much. I've been drummer as a kid and played piano, played in a band etc... sopped everything that was related to music when I was about 15. Two years ago I started producing music with Ableton, sounds etc. stopped again due to low self confidence and other personal problems.
Started chasing IT carrier despite never being an IT person. Started a job that makes me stressed, anxious, nervous …..
I was thinking about the endless field of the music creation and found your channel about a week ago. Thank you for sharing your personal story and for the excellent tutoring. I decided to leave this job for the sake of my health and give a way to my heart and soul. You helped me in a way, so just wanted to say big THANK YOU!

I also leave in UK for about 10 years now maybe one day will have a set with you on the same stage.
God bless!

This single video has accelerated my learning so much. Everyone has noted how much more polished my songs are becoming. I find your 3 hour streams unbelievably useful. I love watching them. I learn so much watching you work, tweak, revise. Can't thank you enough! Bought all your Diva & Serum packs too 🙏 SO worth it

I can not stress how much I needed this video and this insight. I've watched almost all your videos/tuts (and many of the videos you talk about in this video) but this one is without a shadow of a doubt THE video to watch for anybody who wants to pursue a career in music production. THANK YOU, Jules! Truly, sincerely, appreciated. This is exactly the game plan I need, now it's up to me to get to work.

This is the only time I will press that ring bell on a channel - looking forward your future videos.

THANK YOU!
Much love & blessings.

Defo a big shout out for the PML stuff, I’ve got a few of their courses in my account, and obviously your 8 hour courses have been brilliant, there’s not to many people giving away their knowledge.

Hands down this has been my best resource for learning Ableton. I do mainly phonk/trap but the tips etc and the walkthroughs have been fantastic in getting my head wrapped around Ableton as previously I was a FL user for a couple of years along with PT and S1. I cut PT off some time ago, and cut the cord with FL and S1 as I wanted to consolidate my producing and recording of vocals/mixing all into one DAW. Ableton has allowed me to do that, and this channel a couple of others, but primarily this channel have made the transition very easy.

Your 8 and half hours course making 3 songs on YouTube is amazing all beginners needs to start. Also don’t forget Warp Academy is the leader in Ableton teaching especially Audio Weapons course by Vespers :)

Thanks so much Jules. I am just starting down this journey and was about to make some bad decisions I think before stumbling on this. Really helpful.
