The S won me over due to its travel size. My job has me moving from hotel to hotel for weeks at a time, and the S just works better as an all digital system. Don’t need to worry about game discs or anything

I got the series X, and then a few months later I traded in my iPad that never got used for a series S. I think I only payed like $10 out of pocket…. Totally worth having both. The series S is my travel and bedroom console. Series X is in my game room and never moves

If you want insane graphics and insane frame rate, get the Series X.
Series S does everything the Series X does, it just doesn't have a disc drive and it's capped at 60 frames, 1440p (but on a 4K TV still looks great).

I got the Series S because I just want my games to run smoothly, load quickly, and I don't want a disc drive. I don't need the crazy power and insane visuals, as long as my games don't freeze.

My main game is Fallout 76, and oh my GOD what a quality of life upgrade it was going from One S to Series S. Night and day, very happy with my purchase

I bought the XSS because currently I don't have a 4k TV and buying an X is pointless to me. And also I am not a hardcore gamer just a person who enjoys gaming. So the S is more than enough to fit my needs and it is doing it vert well.

I got the Carbon Black Series S console about 2 weeks ago for my first ever gaming console and I gotta say it’s amazing that it runs games at 120 fps at 4K with no problem at all!

it was only 499 and came with 1TB of useable storage!!

On thing I've realized, the xbox ss comes with clearly not enough storage for many games, however to expand your storage with your own carriage it'd usually between 60-90 bucks, pushing it to the 400$ showing, for just a bit more you could get the sx

The portability of the series S is just top notch. Easy to move around if you're always out and about. It's also pretty decent in terms of specs. And if you do digital, cloud and gamepass, get the series S and you're gonna save some money..

And XBSX has a disk drive. Which used games are dirt cheap to buy compare to digital.

Tbh, the appeal of the series X is the 1tb of storage versus the 512gb of the s. Having had a the Xbox one, the extra built in storage is worth it in my humble opinion, but then again it's all about personal preference.

The Xbox Series S is enough for me because you can get it cheaper used off of Facebook marketplace. $200 or less is the standard used price off of Facebook right now. It's also cheaper than the Oculus Quest 2. Don't get me wrong. I love VR, but I also love console gaming. I have a whole downstairs movie theater setup for the console, and if I want to move the console upstairs, all I have to do is unplug, and it's light weight. Honestly, the only games I would play on it are Minecraft and Assassin's Creed.

Also, I have never heard a sound from my series s. I have had it for over 2 years. No fan noise or anything, not even a whisper. Never had any issues and runs the same since day 1.

I’d say it’s what your gaming needs, a series X is it’s a home console and it’ll be your primary mode of gaming. A series S works perfect as a secondary console for exclusives and is good if travel as mentioned by other people or if you’re on a budget and want to get in the current generation of gaming
