Was going to wait till your Typhon review before ordering, but like you I wanna get behind this new Aussie company more than I want to shell out thousands more to get a Trek or Cube that I'd want to upgrade parts on anyway. So I've ordered a frame - they're due late July I believe. Just have to hope my final few parts before or not too long after. Hope you're settling into the new joint OK​ @Sam’s Bikes - lighting and sound are perfectly fine to me.

brilliant content as always... quick one for you if i may...

i went for a bike ride last weekend and snapped a spoke on the rear wheel... i decided to get it in for a quick service too (shop did a collection service which was great), and i got it back fine and all's well.. :)

but on the invoice they said they'd pumped my tubeless tyres to 35 PSI which i thought was very hard (i had them around 25 PSI..), so, went for a ride on thursday evening (33 miles, and mainly on bridleways, few fields etc)..tho, on a gravelly section it didn't have the same grip..

certainly opened up my eyes, but it was a firm ride... I'll maybe soften the suspension and see how that feels for my next ride..
my bike is a 2021 canyon neuron on:8 with Schwalbe 29 Nobby Nic and hans dampf tyres...

what PSI do you ride with?

Thanks for the video, but I've got to make a couple of comments/corrections. Firstly, the Marin Alpine Trail E1/2 seem to be conspicuously absent from this list; don't know if it's because of European availability, but they're some of the best value E-MTBs on the market.

Secondly, while the higher spec Polygon MT Bromo N8 does have the better EP8 motor and better components, it's still only specced with a 504Wh battery (to keep weight down supposedly, but I think we'd all rather a bigger battery).

Finally, you end the video raving about the VMR's <€3K price, but that's only for the frame, while everything else was full bikes, so that price is a bit disingenuous. Unless you've already got a whole other bike that you're willing to completely strip, there's simply no way for a finished bike with a €2750 frame to cost less than €3500 unless you use the absolute cheapest 2nd hand equipment you can find.

With regular mountain bikes, I always found the best value most of the time, was the top spec alloy frame version .

In Australian dolllars sometimes it would be half price to the top spec carbon version .

the cheaper ebike bafang motor with 8 20 battery..made in china..everything is all copy with other brand they no own manifacture of bike....every thing thank you sam's for nice presentation of other ebike ..more power to you

I thought Specialized warranty was 4 years for original purchaser but reduced to 2 years from new if secondhand?
