I was so in awe of America and its fantastic achievements during the 60s and 70s, unfortunately I have more recently seen the US in a far less favourable light for various reasons.
Thank you Space X for re-kindling my faith in the American ability to dream big dreams and to go out and get shit done.

Fabulous...simply fabulous. To be able to land the 1st stage back at the cape is just mind blowing...and to watch it all on the on-board camera is fascinating!
Congratulations to the SpaceX/Dragon team and technical crew, money well spent.

Reality, appears to be a bit twisted for the CPS commenter...who seems to think it didn't happen? Oh well, back in 1903 nobody believed that humans could have powered flight, through the air, over some distance. When the Wright brothers demonstrated powered flight at Kitty Hawk, NC...nobody believed them, NOT the press, NOT the scientists, nobody. The power of human incredulity will never leave us...no matter what the evidence.

Money wise. Why is the first stage recovered and reused? Does it save money to refurbish and repaint verses building a new one. It seems a lot of components would get damaged due to engine burn on landing and slow down.

Why not put cameras on the capsule and show us the docking? Sick of this fake crap show!
