I prefer the 15" version because I don't have access to an external monitor outside of my work office, so the extra screen time is great for long hours of study or the occasional Minecraft session.

The quality of Oliur's videos - lighting, presentation, and clarity is absolutely disgusting. It looks like it would be simple, but the way it's graded and the colour balance, perfect contrast, beautiful 10-bit footage. I don't even care what's been said; watching this content on a really good monitor... it's breathtaking. I hate and love this guy at the same time, but in a good way, if that makes sense lolz!

I’m still rocking the M1 MacBook Pro, it still works great but I’d be lying if I said the cost of upgrading and get a new Pro was worrying me if I needed to do it but this new Air and the cheaper cost is helping me relax. Still a lot of money but not near as much. I miss the darker colours though

realistically 97% of everyone who has a MacBook Air would only use the magsafe port - for charging, and maybe the usbc port if they forgot the charger or need to connect to an adapter. The target audience for the MacBook Air wouldnt know the difference between regular usbc and thunderbolt, and those who do utilise the usbc ports wouldnt need more than 2. for anyone who needs a third usbc/thunderbolt port should just get the MacBook Pro. great video, amazing b-roll

I have a 2021 14” MBP M1 Pro…I wonder if an Air M4 would be a worthwhile upgrade? From all I could read, interestingly enough the Air m4 performance numbers is actually more powerful than my M1 Pro . What’s others opinions on updating to an air m4?

I have just ordered the new sky blue 13” 16GB 512GB mba replacing my 2009 mbp 17” intel dual core. Although I like my mbp I can’t upgrade OS or apps (programs) anymore. And I wanted something more portable. I might get a Mac Studio m4 max for video editing.

Here in Spain the MacBook Air M4 is 1200€. I bought my MacBook Pro M3 a couple months ago for 1200€ (unopened). Maybe sticking with an old Pro model is the move? 🤔

You should wonder, even though it's capable, if the Macbook Air is for heavy users like Oliur. He is defined as a 'Pro' user, thus Macbook Pro with a M* Max CPU. For nomads that need to pack light yet have plenty of power (although it'll throttle under loads like Oliur's), there's the Macbook Air.
