Hayabusa (black) vs Sanwa (red) buttons: tilt 8/19/2017
Показать описание
Showing the difference in button tilt when pressing down on the edge of a Hori Hayabusa ("hayabusa" is Japanese for "peregrine falcon") 30mm arcade stick button (the black buttons, starting at 0:11) vs pressing down on the edge of a Sanwa OBSF-30 30mm arcade stick button (the red buttons, starting at 0:57): pressing a Hayabusa button on its edge causes it to tilt downward at that edge, while the other side of the button does not go down, whereas pressing a Sanwa button on its edge causes a very slight tilt to that side, followed by the whole button going down.
In use, the wobbly, tilting action of the Hayabusa buttons leaves my fingers less sure of when the button is actually being activated, as opposed to the Sanwa buttons, which press much more evenly.
The black Hayabusa buttons are the stock buttons that came in the Hori Real Arcade Pro V Hayabusa 2017 Version (PS4, only released in Japan) in which they are seen in the video--I got the stick new off Amazon yesterday. The red (and yellow) Sanwa buttons are buttons that several years ago I put into the Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai (PS4 model) in which they are seen in the video, replacing the stock Hori Kuro buttons--not seen--that it came with. I'll be replacing the buttons (and Hayabusa lever) in the RAPVH2017 with Sanwa parts as well. : )
