You should try placing the bike on the treadmill while its running at 20kph to see if the bike balances itself

Believe it or not, taking the training wheels and steering lock off would have been more stable. The geometry of the frame is close enough to keep it stable. I tested this theory with my Lego Batcycle and I was able to max the treadmill without shooting it into space

I wish u would of kept it stable till 20 km/h with your hand and then released it( obviously still attached to the string)to see if it would stay up on its own
