1000hp BMW M4 v M1000RR: DRAG RACE

How’s this for a BMW showdown?!

We’ve once again got our hands on Evolve’s almighty 1,000hp BMW M4, and it’s going head-to-head against the incredible BMW M1000RR super bike!

So let’s take a look at how these two beasts stack up. Starting with the BMW M4, it’s the xDrive edition, which would normally come with a 3-litre straight-six twin-turbo that can put down 510hp and 650Nm. However, this car has had SO much work done to it! It’s now housing a built engine under the bonnet, along with a whole load of other upgrades, which means it can now put down 1,000hp and 1,000Nm of torque! As for the weight, it’s the same as the regular car, coming in at 1,775kg.

Then we have the M1000RR. It’s powered by a 1-litre 4-cylinder engine that can produce 212hp and 113Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels only, and it’s SUPER light, coming in at just 192kg!

So what do you think - can the M4 really beat a bike over the 1/4-mile? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

I think they should use a flashlight for these drag races. Mat jump starts every time. It is not fair at all for a guy that drags for the first time against him.

The bike reaction is a bit slower on the start, he goes once the hands are already down and Mat is already flying while he waiting for the hands goes down

Can the person doing the start wait a random amount of time before bringing the arms down so it's a more fair race?
Mat has memory reaction at this point from doing it so often, guests use their reaction speed as they react when seeing the hands go down which slows them an additional bit always at the launch.
They do this in F1 too just before the lights go green.

That M4 is mad, not what I expected at all. Crazy! What an insane vehicle. I think Mat definitely jumped the starts, really would wish the team would draw his attention to that, but they might have and it could just not have been in the video. I also think it wouldn't have changed the result, but it might've been closer. Still cannot believe how the M4 flies off the line and down the road! Thank you for making this video! Had a lot of fun watching!
