Loved Titan Quest 1, still holds up as a classic ARPG even today! Can't wait to get my hands on TQ2!

As someone who played the hell outta TQ1 back in 2006 and when it got its expansions later on I am super hyped and was really happy with how TQ2 felt and looks. After all this upcoming Arpg crazyness if you get the hankering for old school D2 like definitely give TQ 1 a shot.

Played a bunch of TQ1 and Grimdawn around 2017/18 and they were fun. Not really endgame grinding type games but solid and fun ARPGs with a cool skill tree and build system. Not sure why people think every new ARPG game needs to be the best ever and compare it to their favorite game. Games can be fun and also not be the GOAT. Ill give this a try.

it seems like grim dawn campaign style which is what we need during the arpg wars happening

10 skill slots looks very promising...not that i'd want every build to have all the buttons required of them...but only that the builds CAN increase in complexity when it comes to the cooldown shuffling. It's a very limiting thing of PoE, LE, D3 and D4

Yeah i don't think every arpg has to be a seasonal game, if this is a decent story and you can make different builds and play through the story I think that would be fun

@3:12 the makers of titanquest (lootcrate) made grimdawn and they're very similar. Titan quest 2 is made by the PUBLISHER or titanquest 1, and is an entirely different studio. This is the studio that made those spellforce games a while back. They were decent.

bro holy, how have i not heard about this? i played titanquest yonks ago and while it felt weird coming from diablo, it was a ggood weird like i tried really dumb shit and kinda bricked my build but still could rub my face against the concrete and win

i love the fact that TQ2 feels so old school. i think, and i know not many will agree, that the "blasting" gameplay in ARPGs that was brought by d3 and POE1, ruined ARPGs for me. it makes combat feel meaningless because you "blast" through hordes of enemies. i dont have that much time to invest, so i dont want to blast and grind for hours and hours without feeling like i did something meaningfull. i hope TQ2 sticks to a slower game pace, like D4 originally intended but failed completly.

Really liked the Original Titan Quest Immortal Throne so will definitely be checking it out...👍

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a few gripes, mainly weight of sounds. I like the slower pace and of course the theme (Greek Mythology). Submitted my report and can't wait for more to release.
I think this is in good hands from what I've seen. I hope it doesn't turn into a blaster! Leave it alone you guys! Let it be its own thing please.

I'm definitely excited for this! I loved TQ1 and Grim Dawn, and definitely prefer more story based ARPGs over the play 100 hours every 3 months stuff we tend to get now.

I really enjoyed the beta demo playtest. Glad it's not a seasonal/endgame focused online only thing like D3, D4, PoE1, PoE2, etc. It's a real ARPG with exploration and character building.
