Happy 35th Anniversary Mario! What is your favorite Mario game. My top 3 are Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Super Mario Bros. 3!

I'm still impressed to this day how genuinely good the Mario games are. Like, sure, not all of them are amazing and there are some rough spots, but whether we're talking about the platformers, Kart, Party, RPG, Paper, they are almost always fun. And at the end of the day, even if a game doesn't have a good story, characters, music, graphics etc. as long as a non-story-driven game is fun, that's the important thing.

Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars and Paper Mario Thousand Year Door are two of my absolute favorite mario games!

Favorite game: tie between Super Mario Bros 3 on NES and 6 Golden Coins on Gameboy

Favorite moment: that song (Jump Up Superstar) at end of New Donk City in Odyssey was pretty damn amazing :)

Despite being a retro collector, I think Oddysey is the best Mario game. The soundtrack is so amazing, especially the Superstar song. I love the mechanic of throwing Cappy and the speed running tricks you can perform with him. There are so many little places to explore and secrets to find, you’re never totally done with the game. It’s a very close win over Super Mario Sunshine.

I am so grateful to have a modern way to experience my favorite game of all time (Mario 64). There are flaws in the 3D all stars collection but I haven’t been more excited for a game release since Odyssey.

Dude! I love the presentation of not just your room, but the video as well :) As for my favorite Mario game, it's Super Mario Sunshine. I got it as a prize with the Gamecube after being able to eat solid foods (to normal humans, that's easy, but to someone who was physically incapable it was a victory to celebrate). Because of how I got the game, the memories surrounding it, and the overall feel of the game it is my favorite (such a shame not many feel the same way). In regards to games you are missing, you don't have the Winter Olympics on the DS, Mario's Fundamentals, and of course the rest of the Mario VS DK series (I recommend the March of the Minis).
