This was my concept for a DBGT Abridged back in the day lol; Basically instead of wishing Goku was a kid again, Pilaf's wording wishes they were *back when* Goku was a kid again, meaning the gang ALSO have all their memories up through Super.

What if Yamcha was reborn with all his memories basically I’m referring to yamcha from future trunks timeline instead of him dying normally upon his death he gets sent back in time to early original dragon ball how will Yamcha change the future with the knowledge he knows

This is a somewhat popular "theme" in fanfiction, mostly because it is just a power trip fic where the villain would just go "HOW CAN HE BE THAT STRONG?!" or something like that. Sometimes, it also peppered with Harems here and there. it also one of the laziest excuse to write fanfiction because most often than not, there are not that much change resulted becauss the character (or characters) are going back in time. No villain become more active or cautious, no characters become suspicious, nothing. This scenario really just exist so the writer can write how awesome the character is because he got the experience of his future (past?) self

I believe the reason why so many people want this story to be made is so then they can see Goku go live his life from as a kid to back to super or but Goku can prevent things like Grandpa Gohan's death maybe even make cell an Ally. And maybe Goku's brother Raditz and Napa could become Z fighters as well. Being able to relive your entire life and change things like bad ideas decisions what you said what you did what you even wore being able to prevent what has technically never happened it's the reason why I want to see Goku live his entire life all over again
