Refreshing Summer Drinks

🛒Ingredients Required
Shredded fresh Coconut - 1 cup
Slit green chilli - 1 no
Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Crushed Garlic
Kokum - 10-12
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Black salt - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Hot Water - 1 cup

How to make Solkadhi at home.
-Transfer the fresh coconut into a blender.
-Add hot water, close the lid and keep it aside for about 10 minutes.
-Heat up a pan on medium heat.
-Add the kokum and a little water.
-Cook the kokum on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.
-Mash the kokum well while cooking.
-Let the mixture cool down completely and aagal is ready.
-Blend the fresh coconut for about a minute or two.
-Take a bowl.
-Put a strainer on it and a cotton cloth in the strainer.
-Strain the coconut milk through it.
-Again, transfer the coconut into a blender, add hot water, blend and strain the milk.
-You can repeat the procedure 2-3 times.
-Strain the kokum mixture into coconut milk.
-About 4 tsp aagal will be required. Mix well.
-Add garlic, green chilli, black salt, and salt.
-Mix everything well together.
-Strain the sol kadhi through a strainer as we have added crushed garlic and green chilli.
-You can blend it and add it. But blending gives a very strong flavour.
-Sol kadhi is all ready.
-You can add ice cubes and serve them.
-You can also chill sol kadhi in the freezer and serve.
