Pretty self explanatory. I have a jigsaw, but couldn't be bothered to go get it.

Nicely done John. There was a comment about this not being recommended for a 15 amp circular saw. I have been a Certified Carpenter for 25 years and have used a 15 amp circular saw to cut everything from 9 inch radius to 9 foot radius arcs. In the right hands this is perfectly safe practice. I was taught by my instructor how to do this.

No freakin' way. Wait, you can actually do that?! Holy crap! I had no idea.

Well, it IS a "circular saw", after all.

When are you going to start carving tree trunks with a circular saw?

I never could do that the older gentlemen i was learning my trade from could do it as if he was using a jig saw. The part i had trouble with was maintaining the arc or circle. Thanks for sharing.

Like my grandfather usually said whenever I showed him a different technique; "Well, sure - if you want to do it THAT way..."

You know that will cause spontaneous combustion...if you throw it in a volcano.

another thing is have the blade depth as minimal as possible to avoid torquing the blade as you turn it

Did you use a special blade for cutting circles?

Man you made it look so easy... Not sure I'll have the same effortless success, but thanks for the video.. Now that I know its possible, I'll def be giving that a try. PS - for the record, after being amazed and inspired by so many of your videos... It prob wouldn't surprise me at all if you pulled of that same trick with a pair of scissors. ;).

Well, I can do that too, only with my jigsaw. I just don't have that finesse, but I'm glad you do. Amazing as always. Thank you for sharing. bye now
