CNET News - Oculus unveils consumer ready Rift headset

The consumer version of the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset features two OLED screens, constellation tracking and an integrated headset. It is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2016, but no pricing was announced.

is obvious that they only used the audio from the presentators micro. these are made so the only thing we can hear in the video is his voice. is almost imposible to hear the cameras taking photos, so the same happens with the public

Others have a wider field of view, and he never mentioned what the FOV even was. If it's the same as old models, they still need work.

Oculus is fucked. It takes them close to three years to release the consumer version of the Rift and Google and Samsung have been doing virtual reality for over a year now. This product should've been for sale 2 years ago, now all the hype is gone and this will be dead in no time.

if there is no cheering its either 2, audience already seen the same thing many times. The hype is over they want the product. I for one gonna get one as soon as it launches if i can.

This is guy is mostly restating what he previously said about the rift in the video, it gets boring ;p Plus the audio looks extremely skeptical and I'm pretty sure it may deliver maybe a little bit of virtual 360 audio, but I'm guessing most people are going to take it off and use a good headset.
