TVR 14511 is a MOV (varistor), 510V DC, for surge protection.

Hello. I have a Sharp "Liquid Crystal TV" Model# LC-42SB4BUT-A. It's been fine for years. Just today I noticed the red "off" NO POWER LED indicator was off, which lead me to turn it on, but...it won't turn on. Tried factory resetting it as well, and it doesn't work. Any tips?

You didn’t check the main cap for charge before handling the board? Quite dangerous. If you did at least mention it with subtitles. It’s quite dangerous if someone would follow this vid.
