I think the adidas X Speedportal (with laces) is very best than with no lace version because you feel stronger in your foot to pass the ball to cross the ball to dribble the ball and to go more faster.My comment is for you and for everyone who likes it.

Felt like speedportal fit better then air zoom mercurial for me at least, the lacesless and soft upper was superb feeling super comfortable with the padded heel, it did not feel bulky and the carbontex outsole superb!

I have X Ghosted but they are too thin to balance and absorb shocks on the firm ground I play. If you have nice flatter and softer ground these speed boots are great. However, I prefer my Predators for wider outsoles, softer insoles and hugger upsoles.
