This presentation is a general introduction of current research work on P- and S-wave separation (Vertical Seismic Profile) by using machine learning-based, especially neural network-based methods.

This research is mainly driven by Yanwen Wei, who is working for her Doctor’s degree right now. And the coworkers of current work include Dr. Yunyue Elita Li, Dr. Jingjing Zong, Dr. Jizhong Yang in National University of Singapore and Dr. Haohuan Fu in Tsinghua University.
