Thanks as always Lou for a good video. I always like to check your channel out because I have the same type of Forest River RV. I too had the same problem with a roof leak around my vent which caused the white vinyl ceiling material to shrink. Had to purchase a wider t molding trim to cover the gap. Thanks again.

Hi Lou, I wanted to let you know that I got my new T-Molding installed and it looks great thanks to you! BTW it wasn’t necessary to trim down the center strip on mine so it went up quickly!

Yes, I agree that many issues that have come up in our RV have been relatively easy to deal with. However, I always seem to get a mild panic attack when I first discover a new problem.

New RV owner, used RV from Cruise America. . The T molding needs to be replaced on entire ceiling. 😢 The ceiling material is pulling away from edges.
This seems an easy DIY project. Wish me luck.

Hi Lou,
I have a Forester 3051s and the same thing happened to us. I bought 1.5 inch and it's not wide enough to cover it up. On Amazon the only way to buy the 2 inch stuff is $ 211 for a big roll. Is that how you had to buy it?
