This turned out more horrifying than I intended 🫢🫀⚠️ (latex) gorenament reboot

Oops I did it again 🤫 It's a Gorenament reboot! 🫀

while I knew this would turn out a tad horrifying, I really wasn't expecting it to go this far. which is one of the fun parts about making a project utilizing a material that might otherwise be trash, outcomes become a bit more unpredictable.

As stated in the video to make this I used up the mostly dried out liquid latex left over from when I did the cardiovascular stress ball 🫀luckily it wasn't so dried out that I couldn't do something fun with it. so I rubbed some food coloring on it. let it dry for a couple of days. cut it up and rubbed more food coloring on it and coated it with some still liquidy liquid latex and then stuck all the pieces back together and used some sanguine (5 red, 1 blue, 1 brown, .5 grape) colored latex to really secure the top on since it was just poked in. then I stuck it in a frame mostly for fun and a little to keep cat hair off of it lol. I expect it to dry out further over then next year as it started out so chunky lol.

fun fact. liquid latex does not smell good while it is drying 😂.

I always keep my old latex chunks and bits in a tub labeled "gore chunks"

One day while on set making a short film, one of the PAs found it on my desk and thought it was the coolest thing ever and just carried it around with her everywhere she went.

She wouldnt stop laughing and talking about it. It was very wholesome so i let her keep it and started a new tub of gore chunks
