Baby Eaglet Dies in Snow, Wind Storm

A sad update: One of the three eaglets belonging to Big Bear, California, bald eagles, Jackie and Shadow, has died after last week's snowstorm, the nonprofit confirmed over the weekend.

Poor little eaglet. She was laid and hatched 3 or 4 days after the other two. She just didn’t seem to be as strong as they were and this is very sad. Jackie and Shadow are excellent parents. They are very loving and dedicated to their babies. I enjoy watching this live stream 24/7. Thanks for all you do to keep them in our lives! ❤👍🥰😊

I was devastated when I found this out and it was due to the cold weather and the heavy snow and the bowl was so small and the little one probably got caught around the bowl and didn’t get fed because it was hard for them to feed during the snow and the heavy winds. Thank God, these two survived and the parents are excellent, especially the dad. He just loves his little babies.🙏🏻👍🙏🏻👍❤️❤️
