I experienced this.I was with a narc for 12 years and it almost drove me nuts….i many times had crisis of meaning and it took me ages to realize the whole dynamic.After we broke up it was terrible and lyberating at the same time.Eventually I got so calm and found myself again😮‍💨

Good info. I agree with and have experienced most all of what you said, except I don't feel compassion for the narc, it's not for me to feel anything towards the narc except to just get away and stay away from them forever. No point continuing contact with them after I realize who and what they are, don't need to keep subjecting myself to their abuse anymore after I've already learned the lesson. I'm interested to hear other peoples' thoughts about that.

hey sir...unfortunately everything you say is true. I say that as an empath and that has gone through countless such dynamics, relationships, family and friends..strangers..work colleague.
