Cyberpunk 2077 2.xx - Problem with LOD, draw distance and texture pop in

UPDATE: I recently upgraded my system to 7800x3d and 4090 RTX (basically the best you can buy right now) and guess what? Same pop in, same issues. I'm just speechless...

My specs are: i5 8600k, 16GB RAM, rtx 3080 10GB, installed on a 3400 mb/s nvme gen3 ssd (970 evo). I'm trying to close my eyes and enjoy the rest of the game, but it's around every corner.

I've been trying to find a fix for a few days, but nothing helps - ini tweaks, in-game settings, nvidia cp settings, clean re-install, DDU, ReBar On/Off, clearing shader cache, running in nvidia debug mode and so on.

Everything is on High/Ultra, DLSS Quality, No RT. Tried all combos without luck.

Hello, y found a solution, at least it works for me. I had literally tons of textures that wouldn t look good, even when standing next to them (a lot of textures), and i saw i had near 7 gigs of vram playing in 2k, which is very little for that res. Browsing through internet, i found that i could try to disable full screen optimizations, in the properties tab from the .exe archive of cyberpunk. AND IT WORKED!! Now consumes like 9 gigs of vram and the textures ALL APPEAR TO BE IN THE RIGHT RES.

its been 5 years almost and the game is still a broken mess. truly unbelievable

for me it was the FOV, the "immersive FPP Bike Cam" was the problem. I saved a game riding a bike, so I noticed that the mod just makes effect when I get off and on again.
When I had the default FOV there was almost any popping textures, after jumping back and ride using the modified FOV, I had a LOT of popping textures, buildings and so on.

For anyone reading this, I tried every fix I could find but nothing worked so I rolled the game back to patch 1.6.3 to see if I was crazy or if its a real thing and version 1.6.3 works like a charm. No crazy LOD issues or pop ins or textures that are super low res, everything works like I was used too and the games looks superb. So it is most likely an issue that has been introduced since the 2.x patch which sucks because that means that all we can do is wait for a fix. If u own the game on steam u can roll it back to legacy version 1.6.3. to see for yourself, hope more ppl can confirm this

Finally found the exact same problem, even I wanted to try deleting the game and re-downloading it, the various objects always start rendering when they're almost in the face, and any settings don't help, even with 4090, very spoiled experience!

Even the shadows pop in and start to appear very close. Especially on the underside of flyover roads when looking at them from below. Npc shadows when inside buildings have no shape. The patch is just there to increase performance on low end hardware by turning down these things to lowest even on high user settings

got the same thing randomly, even tried ini's, mods, amd settings, etc. nothing as changed it around and its bothering. Just downloaded a 4k pack and everything else to make the game best as possible for 2.02 all for this lol

Currently dealing with the same issue,

Just checking but have you tried playing other games ? Personally I am seeing severe pop-in in a bunch of games all of sudden even though I did notice it first on Cyberpunk

yh it has to be an issue on their end, if amd and nvidia users are getting this same problem it cant be driver related

Everything was fine before this update, now I can’t finish certain things that lock you in an area because the enemies spawn outside of the radius, they really screwed the pooch on this one, I run everything else max settings with rtx, and this game did the same before phantom liberty, im pissed.

Have you managed to fix this? The awful draw distance is what stopping me from playing the game since it's released. And nothing helps, no in-game settings, no ini-files, no mods could help me with it. It fucking ruins all the feeling

Yeah 2.0 and up is dog shit. 1.6 was superior.
