Acute: (similar to signs/symptoms of other etiologies of hypocalcemia)
Tetany
-Chvostek sign: painful twitching of the facial musculature after tapping over the facial nerve
-Trousseau sign: carpal spasm after inflation of arm tourniquet greater than SBP for 3 min
Seizures
Paresthesias
Bronchospasm
Laryngospasm
Heart failure
Arrhythmia
Hypotension
Papilledema

Basal ganglia calcification
Extrapyramidal signs
Parkinsonism
Dementia
Subcapsular dentition
Cataracts
Dry skin
