Our bok choy requires full separation of leaves to remove dirt and sand. Is there another way to clean it??

why do people cooj their bok choy without cutting it into smaller slices like you do when cooking celery? I have only seen cooking mostly intact by lots of people.

Yuck….boiled bokchoi is awful. One needs to lightly get it charred on a pan after a steamed. Then sauté them. Not boil and toss with sauce like this. This is terrible and looks unappetizing.

Hi, just sharing as a chinese chef for more than 20 years. Corn starch into premixed sauce is a big no no. Can't control consistency of thickness and flavor is only the sauce and not into the veg. Just sharing 🙏🏻

Isn’t there some way you’re supposed to wash and rewash the bok choy to get rid of all the dirt and sand? Saw an old Chinese grandpa insisting on some process to properly cut wash and dry it. Is he wrong?
