So another theory I personally like more is that Luci stayed out of the fight so long is because he did not want to take Charlie's agency away and only stepped in if absolutely necessary because he believes in her.

I think dazzle was suppost to be a sacrificial lamb. Lucifer said "usually I charge a sacrificial lamb" with dazzle on a plate during hells greatest dad. And when dazzle was killed, Lucifer showed up

I personally think that he was at home saying goodbye to each and every one of his ducks before leaving but this theory makes MUCH more sense

I like how deals are used to limit what some characters can and can’t do, or just limits their power. It helps keeps power levels in check, and makes it easier to explain away why some op characters don’t just solve the problem right away. Some of them, can’t.

Charlie didn't actually get that family rate since, Dazzle died.

Also it was foreshadowed in the song with Dazzle being on the plate in that song

I absolutely agree with this theory. He shows up as soon as Charlie is hurt because now he Can. I dont think he would have sat back otherwise

I think that sir pensios was the “ sacrificial lamb “ that Lucifer talked about in Hell’s greatest dad, so I think that after he died, that’s when Lucifer finally showed up
