Very good video... I just watched your video... Well documented here. Im originally from the Bronx but haven't been back? Unfortunately in decades to my birth place. Though I have been away from the Big Apple for so long? The city ? And my father's side of me? The Italian that is ... In me? Still has the city ? Very much in my heart. I hope one day in the next couple of year's? I can make a trip back and visit the city's and festival and go into the Bronx near Fordham University area and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city I love so deeply. Grazie mille ... Ciao.

I have Irish ancestors & Italians never seemed to accept the fact that all cathedrals in America must be named for Saint Patrick - the way God intended ☘ ⛪

Seriously, I'm glad this video actually explained who Saint Januarius was & just didn't talk about eating food

No account of St. Gennaro would be complete without mention of the delightful, noisy, greasy, Mafia-dominated feast that explodes in Manhattan's Little Italy every year on his day. Where else can you win posters of greased, half naked NYC fireman by dropping ping-pings balls in a goldfish bowl, or gain a partial indulgence for taking part in a cannoli -eating contest?

Lol guy says we were poor like it was him lmao. Bro it’s 2023 and you’re maybe 60. So you were a kid in the late 60s- 70s lmfao. Maybe your parents were that poor but not you. Say “they were poor” not we . Stop it .
