Asus ROG Phone 3: Hands-on with Android's most powerful phone

The Asus ROG 3 is the most powerful Android phone we've ever tested. With a 144Hz refresh rate display, a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor and a 6,000-mAh battery, it foreshadows many features we'll see on Android smartphones later this year and into 2021.

The phone is a polished evolution of last year's Asus ROG 2. We got to spend a few weeks with a preproduction ROG 3 that Asus lent us. This isn't a review since the software on the phone was not final. But here's an in-depth hands-on look at the Asus ROG 3.

I just am wondering how he gets through the doors in the background with that bed in the way...

Cool phone though. Waiting to see how much of this shows up on the Note 20 Plus...

Front stereo speakers are the way to go. I personally don't mind the tiny top and bottom bezel. Beats having accidental touches or obstructive notches and holes.

I believe that ROG Phone 3 is one of the few phones out there that has a headphone jack when the active cooler is on. Seems like improvements in most areas have been done. I'm almost fully satisfied with my current ROG Phone 2, with that said I'm looking forward to a great release from ASUS in 2021 since I will be upgrading to their latest creation, and hopefully they will be able to improve further on their great design!
I'm not a gamer, even though I occasionally play a game or two, but I mainly use the phone and it's whole awesomeness to do productive work, and the speakers, microphones, screen and battery life, just makes it a joy to use! Keep up the great work and improve the ROG Phone lineup even more, especially for 2021 when I'm upgrading 🤪

I'd say storage is my top priority. I've been stuck with my Galaxy S8+ with 64GB. Which is sadly not cutting it in 2020. Been waiting for an upgrade for a while now. Once they reveal the Note 20, I'll decide.

Whoa! That's dope! So, when will the new phone available? Btw, I wonder if I would get one on my birthday?

They should have kept the 3.5mm jack and it would be awesome
