Florida State's Cam Akers is this week's ACCDN Top Performer of the week. The junior running back ran the ball 20 times for 144 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Seminoles' 35-17 win over Syracuse on Saturday. Akers' 4 touchdown runs were a career-high and tied the FSU record for rushing touchdowns in a game. He did a bit of everything for the Noles' offense on Saturday. Akers lined up in the "WildCam" several times, he completed two passes, and was in on one wild play that ended with a 54-yard gain for Tamorrion Terry.
