Get in your car, roll the windows down and turn this up. Drive without direction to a place you've never been. Take in all the things along the way. I've spent years of my life traveling alone. There is serenity in it, especially when accompanied by the perfect soundtrack. There is something religious about the sun setting in the west while you drive north. The twilight cascading across the road in front of you, the smell of honeysuckle flowing into your car. Being 2020 we have all been through the ringer. Remember to MAKE moments like this happen, don't wait for them to happen for you. Take in the world around you, if you don't smile....change it. Turn off your phone, computer and tv. Love one another and the ones worth loving will love you back. Don't worry about politicians or media. YOU can turn the volume of the world down and in doing so you can more clearly hear and see how beautiful this world is. Bottom line, enjoy this life, make it memorable, be someone people aspire to be....not because of money or possessions but because of passion, intentions and adventure.

My life has been better since discovering The Midnight. They are a time machine to my childhood. Sometimes the nostalgia is so strong it hurts. I absolutely love everything about these guys.

My boyfriend got VIP tickets to see these guys in Toronto a few days ago. It was a PHENOMENAL experience, and Im so glad he introduced me to The Midnight. Honestly, I wish I'd heard them sooner bc they're amazing. This was the song they closed with, and Im not gonna lie, it made me emotional. 10/10 will see them again in the future

Fire on the beach
Face to the sky
The stars dance around like gods in the skies
The gold silhoutte
You take off your clothes
And my heart feels the weight of all I don't know
Memories and mountain tops
Drunk on Sunset Boulevard
With the city of angels singing on
Maybe this is just a dream
And maybe we are still asleep
But I, I will miss you when I'm gone
Flickers of the canyon fire
Its hands raised like a gospel choir
If we live forever, let us live forever tonight
Helicopters against moonlight
Our holy mother of the midnight
And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight
Tomorrow we'll go
Back to our lives
With sand in our skin and sun in our eyes
But I know the truth
I've seen the signs
And I've seen the golden gods in disguise
Memories and mountain tops
Drunk on Sunset Boulevard
With the city of angels singing on
Maybe this is just a dream
And maybe we are still asleep
But I, I will miss you when I'm gone
Flickers of the canyon fire
Its hands raised like a gospel choir
If we live forever, let us live forever tonight
Helicopters against moonlight
Our holy mother of the midnight
And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight
Flickers of the canyon fire
Its hands raised like a gospel choir
If we live forever, let us live forever tonight
Helicopters against moonlight
Our holy mother of the midnight
And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight
Flickers of the canyon fire
Its hands raised like a gospel choir
If we live forever, let us live forever tonight
Helicopters against moonlight
Our holy mother of the midnight
And if we live forever, let us live forever tonight

Music like this helps me keep a cool head on a long drive back home. Nothing but myself and a desolate stretch of highway as dusk sets in; distant lights ahead from the next city soon to be in my rear view mirror. A perfect opportunity to reflect on the past and to look forward to things still to come. Bittersweet memories and cheerful optimism. Moments like that when I truly feel at peace with the world, at least for the duration of the journey back home.

Craziest thing ever...

I shared a moment with someone when this song was playing. And I'll likely never see them again, but somehow we're still connected through this song. I wonder if he's out there thinking the same thing whenever he hears this...

Missing you while you're gone.

I’m from Los Angeles and that’s what caught my attention first. Now I’m addicted to this song. This song broke my heart and made me happy at the same time.

Woke up this morning with this song in the background of my mind so I played it and cried. I was born in the early 80's and let's say that my life doesn't go in the direction that I want. Some people say that it is hard to remember what we did wrong but to me it's even worse to "remember" what I didn't do and the experiences that I don't have. Feeling lonely and "old" makes my breath heavy. Give a smile to a stranger, give him/her a kind word: you don't know how hard it is for him/her to go ahead. Sometimes even a small gesture from a stranger can make the day. Peace to everyone

Captured the spirit of LA pretty well. Even though it’s a massive city the people, the vibe, the warmth I felt was like no place else. Love LA. ❤ the pinnacle of the American dream
