This was super awesome! I'm not even American, but having seen most of these movies when I was in college, it's a good feeling making me nostalgic about my college days when I'd be watching 70s-80s hollywood almost all the time when I was not studying. Good times.

I’m a fan of the midnight and their music always makes me feel happy and nostalgic at the same time, I’ve made some really good memories with their music, and it always makes me feel grateful that I discovered them. Music wouldn’t be the same if it weren’t for them.

Having been age 14 in 1980 I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that I've literally seen *every* movie used in this video on TV, in the movie theater, or on rented VHS. And of most samples I even know the source movie title. And the names of the actors. Well, let's just say we didn't have the internet or smartphones back then, so we had time, man, loads of free time. Thanks for this amazing trip down memory lane, Mr Turley!
