Andy, I'm sittin' here strummin' away at my guitar (second day ever touching one) and I felt the need to express my gratitude for you and your lessons. You have such charisma and positivity in your videos, you inspire me to enjoy music AND you're enabling me to be closer to my favorite songs and artists by actually playing the music. I am sending you happy thoughts and vibes! You're the best man! I really am so appreciative that you're out there making this easy for me. :) :) :)

Brilliant lesson and explanations.

The best guitar teacher I've come across on YouTube as I've begun my journey to learning.

Andy, thanks that is awesome, i have been learning chords but my BIGGEST problem has been changing chords, worse was going from c to like  d, i had to stop, think about where each finger goes, then get them in the right places. i wish i would have saw these shortcuts before i learned the regular chords, i am going to relearn them this way an i bet i will see major progress in my chord changing abilities. Thanks Again!

Thank you so much for making these videos. I have learned so much from many of your videos. It is so kind of you to make these free. I have come so far already for only playing for a month. I have short fingers and I never, ever thought I would have been able to make a chord. Now I can make around 7 different chords so far, which I never would have thought possible! I am not even close to being a good as others, but it is fun and it definitely a stress reliever.

Thank you so much for this video, Andy. Those two amendments to C and G are so helpful, and, as you say, make the change to D really easy. Great teaching!

Hey Andy, just a suggestion, I find when I play a g chord it is a lot easier using my ring finger and 2nd finger on the base notes and my pinky in the E string. It makes it easier to change to a c chord from G. Just thought it would be better this way. Let me know what you think think. Love your videos BTW, keep uo the good work

Loving the bit about 'the C and D chords sort of fit in the family, when in G major, they sound really good' haha it was just a little bit patronising, they're the dominant and subdominant :) thats why :) love this video though!
