Once we have done an embryo transfer, we always think about when the implantation will occur. Implantation usually occur on the 6th day of the embryo. If you have implanted a day 5 embryo, the implantation will occur on the next day. But if you have implanted a day 3 embryo, the implantation will occur 3 days later lot of patient ask the embryo transfer has been done. So how soon can we know that we are pregnant or not. It depends upon what day your embryo was transferred. If it were a day 3 embryo, you will come to know as soon as 12 days after the transfer and if it is a day 5 embryo you will come to know within 8 days also by a simple blood pregnancy test or beta hCG. So you will come to know whether you are pregnant or not, please take to account that a urine pregnancy test will not come positive so early. So please do not fret if you have taken a urine pregnancy test at home and if it is not positive, it takes much more days, maybe 4 to 5 days more than the doctor has suggested you or the days that I have mentioned. So a urine pregnancy test is not recommended after an IVF. If you really want to know earlier if you are pregnant or no.

My baby was a 6 day blastocyst. I transferred today 11/08/21. I did a natural cycle transfer. I started vaginal progesterone suppositories 3 days after doing the trigger shot which was 11/04. ICSI was preformed and they say assisted hatching as well. My blastocyst was a beautiful expanded by the picture they gave me. Will my bby implant on day 1 or 2?
