The main reason i worked so hard to get a P. Eng was its permanence (so long as you dont screw up) and also that you could basically design anything from any discipline of engineering. Over the last decade this changed significantly. They’ve moved the goalposts and change the rules as they see fit. Saddening.

Well, yes we need engineer, i am in residential construction, yes well a 50 's old engineer not is first residential project required LVL 11 & 1/4 when this is not existing, i saw good things & non sense things, all engineer should go visit their site (mandatory from government) to learn & take proper decision for future project, because the overkill aftermath covid, it's impressive & client pay a you !
